You may view or print individual pages only for your own personal use.

We try to ensure the accuracy of all the content present on the site. However, we do not accept any liability for the use made by you of the content. Equity Release Wise may change the site or these terms at any time. If you use the site after Equity Release Wise has changed the terms you will be bound by these new terms.

5. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and your use of this site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales.

6. Partners and fees

Equity Release

Equity Release Wise aims to introduce you to our selected advisors at Age Partnership Limited, one of the UK's largest equity release brokers. Age Partnership Limited is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (registration number: 05265969) and is authorised to provide equity release advice. Age Partnership provide initial advice for free and without obligation. Only if you choose to proceed and your case completes would a fixed fee of £1,895 be payable. Equity Release Wise are paid an introducer fee should you proceed with equity release through Age Partnership, which is a percentage of the adviser’s typical fee. This does not affect the equity release rates you will receive from Age Partnership, and you will be made aware of all of the fees by Age Partnership Limited in the illustration they provide to you before you agree to release equity.

Annuities

Equity Release Wise introduces you to our selected annuity specialists at Retirement Line Limited, the UK's largest annuity broker. Retirement Line operates as insurance intermediaries, specialising in annuities. Retirement Line Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA registration number: 726601, company registration number: 6976976). Registered address: 52 Forder Way, Hampton, Peterborough, PE7 8JB.

There is no direct fee for using the Retirement Line Service. All quotes and information are provided free of charge and without obligation. If you decide to proceed with an annuity through Retirement Line, they will be paid a commission from your new annuity provider, which is taken into account when calculating your annuity rates. Equity Release Wise will be remunerated for introducing your enquiry to Retirement Line, which does not affect the annuity rates offered to you.

7. Best Quote Guarantee or a £750 M&S voucher!

The Best Quote Guarantee is offered by our primary selected adviser and is subject to their terms and conditions:

1. The comparable Key Features Illustration must be based on exactly the same details provided to our selected adviser.
2. The comparable Key Features Illustration must be submitted within 28 days of the recommendation made by your selected adviser.
3. The comparable Key Features Illustration must be on a like-for-like disclosure of accurate health details (i.e. the client cannot withhold information that was used in the calculation of the alternative quote).
4. Our selected adviser must be given a final opportunity to beat the plan at the point of challenge.
5. The customer must provide evidence in the form of a Key Features Illustration, which can be sent to our selected adviser either by post or fax, or by email of a scanned or electronic copy.

In cases where the above conditions are met, and yet our selected adviser still cannot beat the comparable plan, they will send you a £750 M&S voucher. By receiving this voucher, you are in no way committed to using our selected adviser’s services.
