Information we may collect

How we process your application

The primary service we provide to you is that of an online equity release introducer.

We pass your enquiry to an FCA-regulated whole-of-market broker who will find the best equity release option(s) for you based on the details you submit to us and/or provide to them.

The information we collect is only as much as we require so you can receive a quotation from a qualified equity release adviser.

equityreleasewise.co.uk acts as an introducer to save you filling out multiple applications with lots of insurers to try to obtain the best deal.

After you complete our application, we will call you to confirm your details and/or requirements and obtain the necessary consent to share your personal details with the relevant service provider. With your consent, we will then send Your Information to the broker and transfer you over by telephone for them to provide a quotation and often also email the details to you.

Direct marketing

If you give your consent, we may contact you by email to tell you about offers relating to products of our partners that we think you might be interested in.

You will only be emailed by equityreleasewise.co.uk.

In our email marketing we may also promote third parties who can provide other services, including without limitation:

  1. credit brokers, unsecured or secured loan providers, short term lenders, alternative lenders, peer-to-peer lenders, guarantor lenders, mortgage brokers and lenders;

Sharing your information with third parties

We will release some or all of Your Information when we are required to do so for legal or regulatory purposes or as part of legal proceedings.
